I'm writing about...

I am finally getting the chance to sit down and write out my current skincare routine for you guys and I am so excited about it! I have been wanting to do this post for so long but since I was stuck over on Instagram I knew that I just needed to wait until the blog was up! But now that the blog is up I can finally post it! Also, anything that is in pink is a link to the product being talked about! So if anywhere on the blog you see something in pink you can click it and shop the product that I am talking about! You can also shop my outfit shown in the pictures by clicking the pink words right under the last photo!

Outfit Details: Sweater: I cannot find the exact link for this one so I'm linking a similar one HERE $27,
Jeans $80, Boots $52, Purse $30

Before we start let's talk about my skin type so that this post can be the most beneficial to you! I have oily skin, but sometimes in the winter (like right now), my t-zone gets dry. I also do not have very problematic skin. Since my skin is not very problematic it allows me to try out a lot of different products. But that's great for you guys because that means more reviews (don't worry, they are coming! (: ). So without further ado let's start with my skincare routine in the morning.

As soon as I wake up I like to do a nice wipedown of my skin just to get off any excess moisturizer or oils from the night before. So to do that I grab my favorite makeup wipes Kirkland Signature Daily Facial Towelettes. I usually pick these up from Costco because I can get so many for cheap and then I have them on deck for every time I forget to replace them. I will usually use one of these just to refresh my skin in the morning. The next thing that I do is reach for my favorite skin care product that I own, Sea Breeze. I do have to warn you before you go and grab this amazing product, the first time you use it it may burn a little. It is definitely not unbearable and it does not last long, it feels like it's working though. So I put some Sea Breeze onto a cotton pad and rub that on my face making sure to avoid my eyes. For the morning I only do one round of this, this will make sense when you read my night routine. To moisturize in the mornings, I grab my favorite facial oil by Derma E, Radiant Glow Face Oil. This stuff has been my favorite for a few months now, and when I first tried it I was slightly terrified of it. I knew that I had oily skin and I was afraid of what putting oil on top of that would do. But, wow was I wrong. Putting this oil on before my makeup has actually stopped my face from getting so oily throughout the day. I make sure that the oil is really rubbed into my skin before I start with my makeup routine too. The best part about this oil is that it's only $19 and now you can pick it up from Ulta!

My night routine is pretty similar to my morning routine, but there are a couple of differences. I again go in with my Kirkland Signature Daily Facial Towelettes at the end of the day when I am really trying to take my makeup off with these I will usually use two towelettes to get everything off. If I wore heavier makeup than I normally do I will go in with  Garnier SkinActive Micellar Water, you can pick this up for $8.99 at any drugstore or Ulta.  I use this the same way that I use Sea Breeze, so I'll put it on a cotton pad and go in and remove all of the extra makeup that my makeup wipes did not get off. Once all of my makeup is off comes my favorite part, cleansing! I go in with my favorite cleanser ever Origins Checks and Balances, you can pick this up for $23 at either Sephora or Ulta. I use this in conjunction with my Clarisonic Mia 1, you can get this for $129 from Ulta. But it goes on sale for $100 a lot so if you do not want to dish out all that right now just keep checking on it! I have had mine for three years now and I absolutely love it. My Clarisonic makes my skin feel like I just had a facial every time I use it. It is definitely worth the investment. After I cleanse my skin I go in again with my Sea Breeze just as I did in the morning. After I use my toner I go in with my favorite night moisturizer Fab Girl Sleep, you can pick this up from Walmart for $22, or you can do like I do and search for it at TJMaxx for half the price. I lather that on and then I head to bed.

Well loves that's my whole skincare routine! I hope you enjoyed, as usual if you have any questions feel free to leave them in the comments below! I will see you all on Monday!
