I'm writing about...

ROMPERS, ROMPERS, AND MORE ROMPERS!

I have been getting a ton of questions on where I get all of my rompers lately! So, I figured that it was time to devote an entire blog post to one of my favorite things, rompers! Rompers are one of those staple pieces in your closet that you can wear to so many different occasions and change the whole look of it just by changing the accessories you're wearing. I have a couple of different options to show you guys today, from casual to dressy and even things you can wear to a spring wedding! So let's get into it!

The Perfect White Romper:

This first one is such a favorite of mine because believe it or not it is perfect for so many different occassions. If I have any Spring/Summer brides out there, this is one of those options that is perfect for you. There seems to be a stigma that rompers are not a dressy enough piece for something like a wedding party, but they must have seen all the wrongs. The embrodiered detail of this romper gives a delicate and innocent look that a bride tends to go for. The lace up detail across the front adds a little touch to take away from the delicate look. This is seriously the perfect look for a bridal brunch, bachelorette party, and even your bridal shower.

But, this romper is not just for brides, it is for us single girls alike. If you are anything like me than you are obsessed with the color white for the Spring and Summer. Seriously, if you open my closet all you'll see is light blues, pinks and a whole lot of white. It is such a flattering color on so many skin tones and it is a staple color for me during the warmer months. This is a piece that can easily be dressed up or dressed down.

If you want to go for a more casual look throw on a fun patterned crossbody (I've linked some options for you guys) and some fun sandals. If you want to dress this look up grab your purse and throw on your favorite heels or favorite wedges and you're out the door. This is a piece that is often times not seen for how versatile it is, but really it is a great piece to have in your wardrobe.

I actually linked a ton of different options for white rompers just like this one because sadly this one is not available anymore! I linked a ton of affordable options and a lot under $30!

The Colorful Romper:

If you could not tell from the amount of pictures I used of this piece that it's my favorite, than who knows what else could have given it away (; . But really though, I was walking around the mall the other day and I spotted this romper as I was walking and I needed it. If it caught my eye from that far away it was a piece that I needed in my closet. You guys have seen enough of my posts to know that this romper is something that I would normally not gravitate to for myself, it's a louder piece and I typically stay to pastels and light colors. But, I decided to step out of my comfort zone for this one and to say I was happy that I did is an understatement.

This piece is different and just posting it on my Instagram stories I was getting a ton of questions asking how to buy it. That's what is so different about this piece, it's not like all of the colors of the season. It's loud and it's in your face. But sometimes we need that push to leave our comfort zone and to remember that clothes are a way of expressing ourselves and that we should not be scared to venture out into a world we may not know.

Okay, that's enough preaching, let's talk about why else I love this romper. One, it feels like I am wearing pajamas all day. It is made out of a linen material and is very lightweight. This is a great piece for me because I live in South Louisiana and it's March and we are already in the 80's. One thing that I would say about this romper is that it pretty much fits true to size. BUT, with that being said, if you are in between sizes I would size up. It does have a band that you can tie around the waist if it fits a little big there. For a size reference I got a small but I could have gotten a medium for a looser fit.

This piece is super comfortable and the ruffle detail and the color is sure to turn heads wherever you go. I love this piece for a night out on the town paired with some heels or some sightseeing during the day with some black gladiator sandals. For under $50 you seriously cannot beat this romper, it is already on repeat for me.

The Classic Lace Romper:

If you got on Twitter or Instagram at least once or twice last summer than chances are you have already seen this romper, and that's because it is gorgeous. But before we dive head first into this one let's talk about how I only have two pictures for this piece. This romper is super low cut and I forgot to bring a pin to clip it together at the photoshoot, so the whole time I was trying to keep everything in the romper, hence the only two photos.

But, just from the those two photos you can see the gorgeous detail of this romper. I wanted this romper all last year but just never broke down to get it, so when I found it at a warehouse sale for only $15 I knew that I had to have it.

What impresses me so much about this romper is the detail that goes throughout. The sheer lace over the back and shoulders shows just enough skin while the deep v leaves little to the imagination. If you're like me and not a huge fan of how deep the neckline is but love the romper there are a couple of ways that you can fix that.
  • Pair a brallete with the romper. By doing this you will see the bralette both through the back of the romper and a little in the front. It would also be super cute to add a fun contrasting color to add a little spunk to the look.
  • If it's a little too low cut for you (which I totally understand) it is a very easy piece to just pin together wherever is comfortable for you. If you're skilled with safety pins than you will all good to go.
  • Also! If you're all good with the low cut but don't know what bra to wear with it, I will link some options for you guys to try that you won't be able to see with the romper.
Seriously what's so fantastic about this romper is that it's a great piece to wear to a Spring/Summer wedding. It is dressy enough to wear to a wedding but it's also cool enough to wear in the heat, especially at an outside wedding. Throw on a pair of heels and a necklace with some statement earrings and you'll be ready to go. What would be fun with this romper would be to grab a fun colored pair of heels to go with this to add a pop of color. For instance, pairing this romper with some mint green heels or some light yellow heels would be super cute!

I do have bad news about this romper though, it no longer comes in this color. However, it does come in a mint green and even a red color. Let me tell y'all the red is absolutely gorgeous and I am dying to buy it in red too! It's seriously a beautiful piece and is a great statement piece to have.

The Perfect Flowy Romper:

Y'all when I found this romper I was so sad because I found it at a boutique in New Orleans and I knew that I would never be able to find it online, that's when Target came to the rescue (but when does Target not save the day).

This romper is perfect for those extra hot Spring days (aka a normal day in South Louisiana) because it is so lightweight. The flowy look to the romper gives it a more girly and flirty look, which makes it a perfect piece for a date night or a girls night! You can pair this romper with a pair of wedges to dress it up for a night out, or you can pair it with these amazing sandals like I did to make it more casual.

So we have to talk about these shoes for just a second because I am a little obsessed. Backstory first, so almost three years ago I found the perfect pair of cognac colored gladiator sandals and for some reason they were only $10. I was in love with them and literally wore them all the time with almost everything until last summer when the entire sole decided to come off, it was a sad day. That was until this past weekend when I stumbled upon these amazing gladiators for under $45! I am a sandal freak and I own way too many pairs but I love them. They're super comfortable and such a staple piece for your wardrobe! You guys seriously need these in your life!
So, the only difference with this romper and the Target one is that the Target version has a ruffle detail across the chest, which is actually super cute! I actually love the Target version and was super surprised to find it since it's almost identical.

I hope that this post helped you guys find the perfect romper for you! If you have any questions about anything that I posted feel free to leave me a comment and I'll answer as soon as I see it!

I'll see y'all Friday with styling my favorite pair of mom jeans!

Much love,
Zoe Taylor
