Transition Into Spring with Me!

With the crazy winter storm that was happening a few weeks ago I haven't been able to stop thinking about warmer weather! I put together three different looks to help you get into the Springtime mood!

*To shop any of the looks seen look directly under the photos for links. I do make a very small commission if you choose to shop through my links.*

A Classic Spring Look

Thinking of all my southern girls with this look because this one is for some warm weather lol. I found this amazing peasant-style top during Red Dress Boutique's warehouse sale and knew that I had to have it. I loved it online but when it came in I loved it more. There is a slight floral detail stitched throughout the shirt that gives it such a feminine touch. Since this one was a sale piece and is unfortunately no longer available I have linked this similar option.

While you could easily throw this top on with a pair of jeans and heels and really dress it up I decided a pair of denim shorts was the best route. It's casual enough without looking like you weren't trying. It's such a pretty top so the bottoms didn't need to be anything crazy. These are my staple shorts for spring and summer, they are my absolute favorite.

I decided to pair this look with some simple sandals from Steve Madden. Since the top is so detailed I wanted to keep my shoes pretty simple but enough to still look cute. These are my favorite sandals and they bring them back every year because they are just that good!

An Easy Statement Top

This first look is definitely a favorite and will be one that is on repeat all spring and summer long. I found this top as I was walking around Target and spotted this beauty. it comes in a few different colors and the quality is great. the main body of the top is a thicker t-shirt material. It's an easy casual top that can be worn in so many ways. I think it would be super cute with a skirt when the weather gets warmer out.

Since it's still cold out I decided to pair it with my favorite jeans from Good American. I snagged these on a major sale on black Friday but am thinking I need more styles because they are that good. These are a great high waist as you can see and they have the perfect amount of stretch to them.  I like the relaxed "mom jean" look of these with a top like this to keep the look casual.

These shoes may just be the best find of 2021. These studded sandals are only $25 from Marshall's that look IDENTICAL to the Steve Madden pair everyone and their mother have shared since last year. I had been wanting them but just could not cave and spend the money. I was walking around Marshalls and spotted these last weekend and once my mom and bestie saw them I had to go back and get them both a pair too lol. They're that good! Go check your local Marshalls and tag me in your stories on Instagram if you find them!

A Classic Band Tee Look

Taking it to the warmer side of the world for this look and going a little trendy on this one. A cute band tee should be a staple in your closet in your this spring. It's easy to throw on with a pair of jeans and sneakers if it is a little cooler where you are.

I snagged this cutie from a local boutique but don't worry because you can find these all over. I have seen some super cute options at American Eagle as well! Target is another great spot to try to find some cute graphic band tee options.

I paired it with these shorts that are a staple in my closet for the warmer months. They are a great light wash that actually covers the booty and is a true high waist! I would also love this look paired with black jeans and a jean jacket and sneakers for those days that it's a little chilly outside.

A Dressy/Casual Option

Getting a little dressier for our next transitional look (; I found this top at the Denim Bar in Mandeville and knew that I had to have it as soon as I saw it. Lucky for you guys though this is a popular style and I found a similar option for you guys and linked it as well. I love the peplum detail of this top paired with skinny jeans because I feel like it makes you look teeny. The pom-poms add a super fun look to a normal top.

These jeans are an absolute favorite and staple in my closet. they are the JCrew Toothpick Jeans in High Rise and they are a true high rise. If you're a tall girl like me you know the struggle of trying to find high-waisted jeans or shorts that are ACTUALLY high-waisted. These are super comfy and have great stretch and will last you a while!

I paired this look again with my studded sandals to help keep the look a little more casual. I also think that it would be super cute with a bright-colored pair of heels for a date night to add a little pop to the look!

I hope that this post helps you guys with some ideas on what to add to your spring wardrobe. I know I'm dreaming about warmer weather and when I can finally wear these outfits out. Even though I know in the middle of the summer I am going to be dreaming of sweaters lol. Stay tuned for Saturday's blog post where I will be sharing my favorite products I have been loving for the month of February!
